Twin walled stainless steel chimney systems are a fantastic system designed to be fitted in almost any property or room as they have the option of being installed externally or internally.

Existing Chimneys

Properties with existing chimneys can be adapted to accommodate a woodburner/multi-fuel stove. If the opening is not large enough the fireplace can be opened up and structurally supported. The connection can then be made using either a new twin wrapped stainless steel liner or using the existing liner.
Open fires look great, but produce a lot of ash and require clearing out on a daily basis. They will also require a great deal of logs each year to provide adequate heat. Modern woodburners require less clearing out and go through fewer logs as they are much more efficient and the logs burn for a longer duration. Open fires are only 15-20% efficient compared to woodburners which are up to 85% efficient allowing you to heat your room/home more efficiently.
